Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Difference between Production Item and Engineering Item.

Hi.

In Development manager responsibility there is two choices. Create Engineereng item or Production Item.

What is the main differences between Production Item and Engineering Item. I know that New Item Request can be created only for Engineering Item.
