Unable to open and access oracle apps forms in Linux and Ubuntu Client PC

I am trying to  open and access oracle apps forms in Linux and Ubuntu Client PC. I am able to login oracle apps in firfox in linux/Ubuntu but unable to open forms
I have searched on google for accessing oracle apps form on linux/ubuntu and found many blogs but they didn't helped me.

I have also created following two java llink for firefox
ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_10/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so /usr/lib/firefox/plugins

ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_10/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so /home/samuel/.mozilla/plugins

I have checked that java plugin is installed in firefox or not by opening firefox and running the command about:plugins but it doen't show the java.
