Purchasing using multiple assignments

Hi all,

hope you can help - we have users that have multiple assignments as they work in two different departments (and therefore in different parts of the position hierarchy). Is it possible for an iprocuement user to select which assignment they are purchasing under to ensure that the approval routes the correct way.

Any help would be gratefull appreciated.
