ALERT: Issues with Agile PLM & AutoVue applications after upgrading to Java 7u51
NOTE: This Community thread will be updated as new information becomes available.
Oracle's January 2014 Critical Patch Update (CPU) includes new security-related changes to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) - specifically starting in Java 7 Update 51. One of the changes has been found to impact various components of the AutoVue & Agile PLM applications - for example, for Agile PLM the changes impact the Java Client, Product Portfolio Management (PPM) Gantt Charts, and applets. For AutoVue, the changes impact the Client/Server Deployment of AutoVue, specifically the use of the AutoVue applet.
Oracle Development is aware of the issues and is currently working on a resolution plan for both Agile PLM and AutoVue. As soon as the resolution plan is available, details will be posted to this Community, as well as via Alerts in the My Oracle Support knowledge base.
