What's the minimum Unix/Linux UMASK and file/directory permissions that can be used without impact t

Greetings,
Just wondering if anybody uses non-default permissions - more restrictive - in their Oracle FMW implementation on Unix/Linux platform.  I have a WebLogic AdminServer, Reports Server, Forms Server and and OHS all installed under /opt/Middleware.  I figured at minimum I might be able remove permission for Other/World.
