Color coding mandatory fields on JDE applications

Hi, one of our client wants to make life simple for their end users by doing color coding on JDE applications (like PO entry) so that users clearly know which mandatory fields they must key in so that they don;t get a red error at the time of data entry. They want to know the options in JDE to achieve that or if it would require a customization. Thoughts? Thank you.
