Does Oracle FMW Need World/Other Permissions on Unix/Linux?

Hello,
I have a WebLogic AdminServer, Reports Server, Forms Server and and OHS all installed under /opt/Middleware and all run as the oracle user.  I was wondering if the Other/World permissions can be removed - to comply with security requirements - without impact to functionality.
