Initiating/Trigering workflow process on asset creating via REST ?

In the FirstSite Sample on JSK  11.1.1.8.0, on running the CreateAsset REST sample included in teh installation directory, the asset is sucesfuly created but unfortunately the workflow process wasn't initiated.

I checked that the workflow process is working by creating a product asset form the contributor UI and it's working just fine.
