Asset description assigned to project to the invenotry item desription

Hello Guys,
In 11.5.10.2, When transferring an asset to projects the asset is created with Asset Name & Asset Description based on the Asset Naming Convention in CRL 11i Projects which is using the Grouping Elements, porject name & task name to create the Asset Name & Asset Description. The Business Requirement is to have a unique asset description across the application modules, the Inventory Item Description is the one to be used.
Will the package "cse_asset_client_ext_stub" work with projects transaction Or this is another way to achieve this business requirement.
