Unable to access Permissions for Catalog Objects

 Hi,
I'm logged onto BI Publisher as an administrator with full privileges. All roles have been assigned to the user. When trying to set permissions on any Catalog objects (Folders, individual reports, etc), clicking on the 'permissions' button will result into:
Error 500--Internal Server ErrorFrom RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:10.5.1 500 Internal Server ErrorThe server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

I am unable to get to the permissions popup on any user (admin, regular user).

Weblogic log shows the following stacktrace (servername blanked out with ******):
####<Jan 20, 2014 1:31:27 PM CET> <Error> <HTTP> <*******> <bi_server1> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '5' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <c7ec71a5c3ecf355:9e43619:1438c87543d:-8000-000000000000e04b> <1390221087342> <BEA-101020> <[ServletContext@633976578[app:bipublisher module:xmlpserver path:/xmlpserver spec-version:2.5 version:11.1.2]] Servlet failed with Exception

Howdy, Stranger!
