Oracle Receivables in not pointing to newly created Tax Regime

Hello,

I have followed the note 577996.1  but it does not seem to address an upgrade scenario.   We migrated from 11.5.10.2 to r12.1.3 last year.

  1. Consider following points for better understanding of the issue.
  2. We migrated from 11.5.10.2 to r12.1.3 last year.
  3. We have customer base in Canada and also a Canadian Operating Unit.
  4. With 11i migration, we continued to use migrated tax setup and it works fine for migrated customers and sites.
  5. However, if a customer has a new site or address in r12, the migrated Tax setup stops working.
  6. When we contacted Oracle via a SR,  Oracle said that in case of new addresses you have to setup new tax regime and they gave us above mentioned note.
