Handling PO variations while printing POs

Hi All, I have a query about handling PO prints to print variations. Assuming that there is a PO - OP/1000 and it has 3 lines and all of them have been printed once and status has changed from 280 to 400.

Now, if you have a PO variation and you add another 2 lines added to the same PO, how should we tell the system to print the entire PO (including variations) and only update the status of the variation lines? Is it a change in processing options of R43500 or Order Activity Rules? Thank you.
