Accepting LOT Quantity

- Imagine the following scenario

One batch order working for 3 shifts...

the first shift produced   10 TONs from Item X at LOT Y

second shift produced   30 TONs From item X at LOT Y

third shift produced        20 TONs From item X at LOT Y

[SAME ITEM AND LOT]

for EACH shift..the quality department give the acceptance JUST for the produced quantity during the shift..

but what we have [IN THE APPS] that the acceptance is given just ONCE for the lot..so the whole lot is accepted or rejected..

Any ideas how to accept just the quantity produced ? 

CAN THE LOT STATUS CHANGE AGAIN AUTOMATICALLY TO [INACTIVE] WITH EACH -WIP COMPLETION- TRANSACTION ?
