Hello,

I am getting the following error message:

Oracle instance fails to start with the following messages:

ORA-27102: out of memory
OSD-00034: additional error information
O/S-Error: (OS 8) Not enough storage is available to process this command.

Steps executed:

  1. Added /PAE /3GB /USERVA=3000 to boot.ini
  2. Set AWE_WINDOW_SIZE in windows registry to 1288490190
  3. Create a new .ora file from the current SPfile, added or updated the following parameters:
    sga_target=0
    sga_max_size=0
    #db_cache_size
    shared_pool_size=624M
    large_pool_size=4M
    java_pool_size=4M
    pga_aggregate_target=582M
    use_indirect_data_buffers=TRUE
    db_block_buffers=200000

Howdy, Stranger!
