Why is CRM Data showing in Prompt, but not reflecting immediately on the report?

 Hello, 
I have an existing report that has filter/prompt on a Reference Number. This prompt can be skipped because not all Opportunity Records have reference numbers. 
When I created a new Opportunity record and added the Reference number on the record, the Reference number is reflected immediately on the prompt, but the record is not showing right away when I run the report. 

I am using a reporting Subject area and not Analytics subject area, so it should be reflected in real time right?
It's been 2 hours since I last created the Opportunity record. 

Any advice on why the prompt is already reflecting the Reference Number (e.g. 12345) but the report shows "No Results"?
