Custom field validations and conditional logic

All,
How can I create custom client side validations (other than mandatory ) in WCS for attributes ?
and How can I code a logic in the WCS form mode (eg.: show two fields when value of FIELD_1 = "yes") ?

I don't find any samples or info in developer/admin guide.
