EBS R12.1.3 : hardware requirements

Hi,
We are having a issue in R12.1.3 in linux.    The existing /tmp space is 1GB in application server.    There are some forms process which creates huge file in /tmp  (upto 800MB).    Due to this /tmp grows to 100%.

I am not finding any doc in metalink , which suggests the minimum requirement for /tmp in Linux EBS applications servers.

Can you please let me know the correct sizing for /tmp in applications servers
