Upgrade EBS 12.0.6 to 12.2

Dear All,

We would like to upgrade the old release 12 that is 12.0.6 to the latest 12.2. We only found the guide for Oracle E-Business Suite Upgrade guide 12.0 and 12.1 to 12.2, but found it is not clear after the database upgrade.
I managed to upgrade the database to the latest 11g R2, but after that I do not know what to do.
Does anyone has any idea what is the next step for it?
Do I need to install new application for 12.2 then do a upgrade from there?
