How to change proxy being used for IPS publisher

On one of my servers I need to change which proxy controller is used for the IPS package publisher. This doesn't seem to change automatically when I migrate the assets to a different proxy. How do I change this? I've seen a few questions on here and on MOS to do with agent/proxy IPS communication that suggest using something like install_ips_ac.sh -P $PROXYIP - is this the right command to re-point IPS?
