Adhoc Taxes on Service Contract

Hello

Can adhoc taxes be used on service contract.

We've a business case where billing is done at fixed price but taxes are calculated based on material used on site. We dealt with this scenario in 11i by creating PL/SQL tax and updating attributes that will be converted as tax amounts in AR. Unfortunately R12 does not support this type of tax now.
