Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hello All,

Can someone explain the purpose of the "Associate Business" functionality in Legal Entity Configurator?

1) Is it required to associate all OUs, Project Orgs, Inventory Orgs, etc. to the Legal Entity?

2) What does the association drive (e.g. tax, reporting, etc.)?

3) Are there any "gotchas" or precautions that need to be known?
