Update of the Serial Number in IB

Hi,

I need to change the serial number of an equipment that is trackeable in Inventory and IB.

As I know I can change it when it is on field and not when it is on inventory.

If I send the equipment with a sales order to the customer I can update the serial number in the instance details page but if I send the equipment with a EIB Misc Issue I can´t.

How can I enable that change?

I need to do a misc issue of the equipment to do a change in the serial number, and the issue must not expire the item.
