Cancel lines that have been partially received using P4310 - "Cancel Line"

I'm absolutely sure that in pre 9.1 versions this was not possible. The scenario is that a PO line is in a partial receipt status. The user wishes to cancel the remaining quantity. I was sure the only way to do this was to use REC OPT in P4312 = value 9. Attempts to cancel the line through P4310 resulted in some sort of message like..."Line Cancellation not possible, partial quantities have been received". However...now I see in 9.1 that a line cancellation of a remaining quantity is possible using P4310. Is this new functionality?
