How can I sure it is the recoverd oracle by RMAN using selected backup pieces

Hi buddy:   How can I sure it is the recoverd oracle by RMAN using selected backup pieces. I made an backup at 2013/12/31 and made an another server recover test yesterday. Now the database has open, But how can I identified that database is from backup pieces  "2013/12/31" without restore log and RMAN log. Can I just  do select some v$view to check it out ?
