Year / Period End Process Difficulties with Oracle EBS R12
In general terms Oracle is one of the best top end ERP application requiring very minimal application level jobs for financial year or period end. You just do year end as good as a period end within Oracle.
Finance / Accounting Department takes long time to close period end irrespective of the very easy period end actions within EBS. So, where is the problem. This thread is to surface all issues within period end process within EBS R12.
Release 12 is only considered here as there are very significant improvements in R12 over R11i and yet it is not enough.
