R12.1.3 : Oracle home version query for Release 12 upgrade

Hello,
We are on ORACLE version 11.2.0.2.11, we will be moving to 11.2.0.2.12 mid Feb 2014.  We have already upgraded a test system to Release 12 using oracle 11.2.0.2. But we need to move to oracle version 11.2.0.3 before we go to production with Release 12. 
My question is
can we use they same version of patches for an upgrade to Release 12 regardles of the oracle home version ?
ie will the patches sit on 11.2.0.3, as they do on 11.2.0.2 ?
