Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Does "NextExtent" bump the high water mark?

Hi all,

Oracle 11.2.0.3 SuSe Linux SLES11

if a table allocates a new extent (with configured size of nextextent) does ist also bump the high water mark higher?

Is it the same behavior with lob-segments and next extents?
