Character based oracle FMW 11g report sent to local usb to parallel connected Epson TM U295 slip pri
An Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Form calls a character report using: "rp2rro.rp2rro_run_product(reports,' TP_Receipt ', synchronous, runtime, filesystem, pl_id, null);".
With the rp2rro utility installed on the client, when the character-based report is generated and previewed by the webshow command, a printer selection window popup displays.
Although the target Epson TM-U295 slip printer is the default, the "Where" property associated with the printer shows USB001 which is the name of the USB Port created when I installed the updated Windows 7 drivers for Epson TM printers.
The problem is that the receipt report gets written to a file on the desktop with the same name as the 'Where" property of the Epson TM Printer which is USB001 (the name of the USB Port associated with the Epson TM printer.
