Can anyone recommend white papers or articles that help one understand eBTAX terminology?

Hello,

We have started setting up a new operating unit and I've been tasked to help setup eBTax.  A consultant is helping us.  I hope someone can refer me to some basic eBTax articles, white papers that will help me understand the vocabulary.  I also would like to know how the following terms relate or cause processing to occur.  I'm a beginner when it comes to setting up eBTax.  I know the meaning of Tax Regimes, Tax Rates, and  Tax Jurisdictions.  I start to lose understanding when I look at Tax Rules how or when these rules get triggered.

I would also like to understand the meaning of terms in "Advanced Setup Options" tab and when they should be used or how to use them in Tax Rules;
