Change Item Control Attribute from Master to Org level

Hi All

we have a requirement on changing Item Attributes from Master Org to Child Org as Customer Ordered and Internal Orders ordered. if we changed this from Master to Org level, what would be te implication take place for

rest of the countries as we have gone Go Live for 13 countires,
