SOA Database & Application recovery

hi ,

we are planning to do Backup & Recovery scneario for SOA Fusion Middle Wear apps & database below are the approach which we consider pleas look into it and provide your recommendation o the approach 

here is the backup approach

Backup type = Cold Backup


Need to Backup
---------------
1)complete Base directory which contains database , oracle home & binaries

2)complete Base directory SOA MIDDLEWARE HOME which contains SOA software, Domains & binaries etc


location of ORACLE BASE Direcotry = /u02/SOACLONE

location of Middleware Base Direcotry = /u01/oracle


backup steps on Database :


Shutdown databse listener & database cleanly


cd /u02/SOACLONE

mkdir COLD_BACKUP_DATABASE
