Employee/Supervisor Hierarchy- Purchase requisitions

We are using the employee/supervisor hierarchy in Purchase requisitions and now one of the  employee is no more with the company.
How to remove this particular employee from the process?
Now the workflow process has stopped. Can, any one help in this so that the process continues....
