Using Netbackup 7.6 with SL150

I'm using Netbackup 7.6 installed on a windows master and media server. This is a new environment and I am setting up polices, volume pools and the like. When i use the eject media from within Netbackup the tape will eject but it will not remove itself from the mail slot. The local SL150 doesn't update that the tape has been removed. When i do an inventory of new tapes the Netbackup will not update with the tape in the mail slot with the previously removed tape. I have to power off the SL150 for that to clear.
Are there any instructions on Oracle's site that has a guide to use with backup environments?
