Is LDAP Mandatory For RPM 14

 Hello Everyone,
I would like to know whether LDAP server is mandatory for RPM V14.

In the RPM 14 installation guide, I have seen the RCU(Repository Creation Utility) wizard as well as the LDAP configurations. Is it mandatory to use RCU & LDAP for RPM 14?

Can anyone please list the applications the require LDAP in V14.
