Calling a custom pl/sql procedure from a form without customizing

Dear All

Good Day.

There is a requirement to call a custom pl/sql function which needs to take the input values from the form (Let's say National Identifier on People Form in HRMS). I would like to call this pl/sql function or a procedure without customizing the form. Any guidance in these lines will be of help.
