licensing models
For some historical reasons our company's product is a database schema that can only exist with one table owner. That name gotta be fixed, name it 'ACME'. All tables start with ACME...Our customers often need 3 or 4 of our databases for various tests, production, development.
This resulted in the fact that our customers have to run an instance for each of such a database incarnation.
My question is: Does this impose an unnecessary cost load to our customers?
Is the licensing model per instance? Per CPUß Per Cpu-core? Per Computer?
What could we recommend to our customer(s)?
Best,
Christoph
