webconsole hangs

I have webconsole installed with 3 applications; ZFS Administration, SAM-QFS Administration and CAM.  I have an arrary that i have to change drives on regularrly and when I start my browser to connect to the webconsole, the connection fails.  I always have to restart webconsole, which puts it in maintenance mode.  Eventually I can get it back up and running but after 10-15 minutes.  Is this normal?  Are there logs that I can check to determine and startup/running problems?
