CRM Publish Rules Configuration & Mapping

Hello All,

I have enabled the CRM Publish Rules Configuration in ODM and modified an existing ODM Contact but the data is not reflected in CRM.

I read the publishing from ODM to CRM is almost real time but is therere a delay in the actual enabling of the Publishing functionality?

Also, under CRM Integration Management is mapping feature for Contacts and Leads just for the publishing functionality or is it also for Synchronizing?
