Rendering Demographic Variable(First Name) in Web Version of Outbound Email

Florin,

I created an outbound Email Registration and used the Demographic First name to address my customer. The web version of this email is not rendering the statement Dear ${Demographic.FirstName("Valued Customer")}, and instead it is getting displayed as Dear Valued Customer. Is this an expected behaviour? Please advise
