crsctl status resource vs. crs_stat in 11gR2

Hi, crs_stat is deprecated in 11gR2. I think there is one advantage of that command over "crsctl status resource". crs_stat is able to list resources with type='application". How can I force "crsctl status resource" to list this type of resource as well?
