How can I tackle the issues in Notifications?

HELLO,

How can I tackle the issues in Notifications? Is there any document or any such thing that guides about tackling the notification issues, like when to REWIND, when to SKIP, when  to RETRY and when to CANCEL etc.

Please guide.
