CASH FORECASTING - PAYROLL RELATED ITEMS

Hi - I have a question on Cash Forecasting.  Where does the forecast (template) read the payroll information from?  I had run a forecast for a period  in which Payroll had already been paid(Dec-2013) and yet the forecast shows no Payroll expenses.  My understanding is that the foreast will only show historical payroll expenditure.

Any help is appreciated.
