P6 Install on a 32-Bit Machine

When I am trying to install P6 onto computers that have a 32-bit operating system, I am getting a "Database Log on Failed" message, saying:

Bad public user name or password. [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access is denied.;

The setup with the exact same information typed in works just fine on my computers that have 64-bit operating systems.

What is the trick?
