Trouble installing Grid Infrastructure

OL6

Hi,

I created shared drives in a VM on OL6. When I install Grid, it recognizes the drives and all is good until I run root.sh.

Then I get  :

CRS-4124 : ORACLE High Availability Services startup failed.

CRS-4000 : Command start failed or completed with errors.

ohasd failed to start : Inappropriate ioctl for device.

Any help is appreciated.
