Problem with iSCSI LUN on dual headed controller

Hi all.

So far, the performance of the ZFS 7320 and ZS3 have been fantastic. We have a 7320 dual headed controller and a single head ZS3.

We found a curious case, which is tough to understand. There is a reference to this problem in an obscure comment in one Oracle White Paper about ZFS Appliance and iSCSI.

When we define a LUN with iSCSI, and install Solaris 11 (ZFS root pool) on that LUN in an LDOM (firmware based virtual machine), on the dual headed 7320, the performance is totally slow. Almost to the point of impossible to work. Creating the LDOM on an NFS disk image file, or on FC on the single head ZS3 is really fast.
