Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. BI Publisher (OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1): Remove Schedule option for a group of users

Hello,

For some group of users, we want to disable the Schedule option.

There are two ways to schedule reports, one is via the Create Report Job from the Home page or via the New drop down.

Another way is when you are running a report, from the top-right corner of the report viewer, under the Actions dropdown, there is a Schedule option.

How can I change the permissions so that BOTH those options are removed for certain users/groups?

I created a new Application Role called OBI_BIP_USER and assigned to the users that shouldn't be able to schedule reports.
