Supplier Site update Global across Operating Units?

Hello,

My client has 3 different Operating Units, in three different currencies.

However there are a few Suppliers that are shared across the Operating Units.

When I make a change in the supplier site in one OU; for example, update the payment terms at site level, this change is affected at the site level across all the Operating Units.

Is this expected behaviour?

My client does not want the change to happen or be viewed across Operating Units.  Is it possible to limit the update to one Operating Unit, even if the supplier is shared across all OUs?
