Can I delete the following files

I have identified a lot of old files under $INST_TOP/admin/out and $INST_TOP/admin/log.

The extensions include *.txt , *.sh , *.conf , *.xml , *.ini , *.properties , *.cfg , *.sql , *.pl , etc.

I cannot find these files/directories mentioned in any purging document. Am I allowed to delete them or not?
