How can the items returned from a cost details search in R12 be sorted alphabetically

Hi, we are using the Cost Details form under OPM Financials > Cost Management for doing a search of item numbers beginning with specific characters. The data is being returned ok, but ideally we would like it to be sorted alphabetically, it seems to be returning the data randomly. Does anyone know if it is possible to have this data returned sorted alphabetically ?
