RMAN active duplicate use to build new standby by old standby database.

Hi All,

Recently we tried to migrate DG from one server to other server using RMAN active duplicate,

Database version is 11.2.0.3 PSU7

Database resides on block devices/raw devices

As part of prerequite Bug  11715084 ACTIVE DUPLICATE SHOULD WORK WHEN CONNECTED TO STANDBY AS SOURCE DB is also taken care.

Also verified block volume size/raw volume size  in both source and taget hosts are same or higher value.

OS version was also same.

since volume names are same in both source

logfile_name_convert and db_file_name convert parameter also set properly. init parameter values are doubble checked and tns entries are verified. No issues found in tns enties found in connection string and initparameter files.
